Detached building: Banzaitei Hanare

The house of the Akizuki family's 11th generation leader was Tanetatu Akizuki. In 1942, the main house was demolished, and the Akizuki residence was rebuilt. A separate building, called Banzaitei, Hanare remains as it was and Tanehide, (the second son of Tanetatu Akizuki) used it regularly as a favorite study room. Even though the Akizuki's main house was torn down later, but the separate building Hanare had been used for a while. The Banzaitei Hanare was restored in 1986.
