Takanabe Daishi (Stone monuments)
In order to comfort the souls of the Mochida ancient tomb group, Mr. Yasukichi Iwaoka built about 750 stone statues. This place is also called, "Takanabe 88 places" whose statues are enshrined here. From here, you can see the panoramic view of the Hyuga-nada Ocean as well as the entire town of Takanabe.
